Recently, I’ve been feeling a bit down with this thought that I don’t remember what kind of person I used to be anymore. The way I look at myself is, I am a quite positive and perky human being who enjoys her life, probably not to the fullest, but to a certain extent. However, I don’t feel like I am that person anymore ever since I started working for this company. I am not sure if any of you guys ever felt this way, but I’d like to share the letter I wrote myself here. If you’re going through the same tunnel that I do, I hope this letter reaches your heart as well.

You don’t have to feel like you lost who you used to be. Because if there’s anything that never changes in this world is the fact that everything changes. And that, of course, includes yourself.

So you can be free to accept the person you’ve become today while appreciating a bunch of different versions of yourself in the past. It doesn’t mean that you’re holding on to them, but rather being grateful for all of them that have shaped you into the person that you are today, even though you’re not exactly that version today.

Nothing can stay the same, and that is okay. It really is.
